Having great staff is a vital part to the success of any School Age Program! The YMCA of Northern Colorado is looking for passionate staff to join our afterschool programs staff. We are looking for drivers who embody the four core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility, have a genuine love for children, who are kind and patient, and most importantly a staff that can support the YMCA's mission.

Our goal is for each child to enjoy safe adventures, make new friends and have joyful experiences every day. Come join our team for 10-15 hours each week.

Shifts/Hours: Driving hours are tentatively 2:00p-4:00p Monday-Friday. Additional hours as a program leader in the after school programs may be available.

General Job Duties: Transports children between school and the Longmont YMCA, assists with administrative tasks related to the bus, and supports staff in providing supervision of children ages 5-12 years old! Must enjoy interacting with staff and children and have high energy level.

Requirement/Certifications: Applicants need to have a valid Driver's License and have a clean MVR. Applicants must be committed to being a positive role model with youth. Applicants must be 21 and provide written verification of at least 460 documentable hours of experience working with school age children ages 5-16 years old.

Salary $13-16/per hour. In addition we offer a +10% differential for bilingual staff (Spanish and English) and there are great benefits, too. Part time staff working more than 15 hours each week are eligible for free individual and discounted family membership as well as 25%-50% off most YMCA of Northern Colorado program fees for themselves and qualifying family members (including personal training, swim lessons, after school programs and more). Additional benefits include earned sick time and contributions of 10% of your salary to the YMCA Retirement Fund for eligible staff.

The YMCA of Northern Colorado provides before and after school programming at our branches in Boulder County. We also provide care on full days when school is out and full time in the summer for youth ages K-5th grade.

To protect our community, all Licensed Child Care Employees will be required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 by October 1, 2021 or prior to hire.
